2016 looks set to be another exciting year at Drove Orchards, Thornham with three new businesses joining the site.
Shuck’s, the new venture from award-winning local chef Philip Milner and his wife Beth, opened in the yurt here at Drove Orchards this spring.
Philip, who has worked along the Norfolk coast for over 20 years, is offering a menu emphasising farm-to-table, making use of the freshest, seasonal produce from Drove’s extensive kitchen gardens and the orchards, just a stone’s throw from the yurt, plus locally sourced meat and fish.
Open every day lunch and dinner with breakfasts coming soon, Shuck’s offers a relaxed, unique setting, catering for all including vegetarians, gluten-free and children. Even four-legged friends will not be forgotten!
From a healthy smoothie or homemade cake to Shuck’s special burger, a stone-baked pizza or a Philip legendary curry, the emphasis will be on honest, rustic food. Parties can be catered for and takeaways will be available.
