On the Monday 8th October we had the pleasure of hosting 23 Year 10 students from Alderwood Peel High School, Wells-next-the-Sea.
The day consisted of orchard visits, talks on the various different apple varieties and how different they taste and how they can be incorporated into cooking.
They were escorted round the site and had the chance to see behind the scenes where the apple juicing and cider production takes place, see images below!
Some of the feedback we received from the day was that the students couldn't believe how different all the different apples tasted and how much they enjoyed getting an insight into the industry.
We thoroughly enjoyed meeting this lovely group and their teacher!
