July is a busy month in the kitchen garden, with plenty of delicious homegrown produce being freshly picked and delivered to Drove Orchards Farm Shop, and featuring on the menu at Shuck's at the yurt.
The Farm Shop is currently selling our homegrown artichokes, beetroot, broad beans, new potatoes, lettuce and rhubarb, along with homegrown gooseberries from our soft fruit beds. If you'd rather, you can also pick your own gooseberries....
Go wild at Drove!
On Saturday 5th August we will be hosting a new wildlife event with our neighbours the Norfolk Ornithologists’ Association. The event is free and aimed particularly at families and local people, sharing the enthusiasm that Drove Orchards and the NOA have for the flourishing wildlife at the farm.
The NOA will have plenty of interest to see at their wildlife stand, and will be offering information on bird...
Drove Cider
New for 2016
News flash! We are very excited and proud at Drove to announce that our first batch of cider is ready to drink! It has been blended from our Heritage and old cider variety apples. It's light, refreshing, medium sweet to taste with a smooth finish.
It will is currently being served at Shuck's restaurant in the yurt and sold in litre bottles at Drove Orchards Farm Shop. Try it while...
